Voter Qualifications:

 
bulletCitizen of the United States
bulletResident of the State of Wyoming
bullet18 years of age by election day
bulletNot been convicted of a felony
bulletNot adjudicated mentally incompetent

Keep your registration current:

bulletYou are registered for 2004 if you voted in the 2000 general election (Wyoming maintains a registry of voters: you need only register once while living in Wyoming, provided you vote in each general election and do not move)
bulletIf you move to a different precinct or change your name, notify your County Clerk.
bulletIf you move to a different county you must re-register.
bulletIf you have questions about your registration or where you vote, contact your County Clerk.

Absentee Voting

Vote absentee for any reason. Call or write your County Clerk for details. Remember to return your absentee ballot immediately to assure it will be delivered to the County Clerk's office not later than 7 p.m. on election day.

While you can cast your absentee vote any time, you must be registered by October 1st - registration is cut off 30 days before every election (but of course you can register at the polls if you are around).

Voting Assistance

If you require assistance to vote by reason of disability or inability to read or write, you may be given assistance by a person of your choice. Also, if you have questions regarding accessibility of you polling place, please contact your County Clerk.
