Security Network Administrator – Casper, Wyoming

This position is responsible for providing day-to-day support to the company within the Information Technology department, developing internal IT security business relationships and ensuring the Information Security team meets business requirements. He/she will be responsible for the development and execution of the security needs, requirements and ongoing operations. This position shares on-call responsibilities, investigates problems and identifies their source, performs and oversees security hardware, software and application installation, develops strategy with business and IT leaders, supports and participates in audits and assessment of IT controls, and upgrades and develops and conducts training for system users. This position also provides consulting services, provides expertise and counsel to management, reports on findings of risks or vulnerabilities, initiates, maintains network and wireless systems, performs penetration testing and remediation, and facilitates and promotes information security awareness within the organization. Minimum requirements include a degree in a related field and three (3) to five (5) years’ networking experience of equivalent applicable work experience, English language fluency, the ability to communicate technical information to nontechnical personnel, and the ability to switch tasks rapidly to respond to business needs. Must also have knowledge of computer and/or network security systems, applications, procedures and techniques, be able to install, configure and maintain networks, and have the ability to learn and support new systems and applications.
