Safety Technician – Dickinson, North Dakota

This is an administrative position assisting with safety functions and training at the terminal level. This position conducts new hire processes including pre-employment, initial new hire training, and proper PPE assignment in accordance with DOT, OSHA, DEQ, & EPA.  This position also assists with retraining of all terminal personnel to comply with DOT, OSHA, DEQ, EPA and company regulations and policies, stays current with all applicable Codes and Regulations pertaining to safety, assists with ensuring compliance, and facilitates electronic logging system(s) training for drivers. Must be able to handle sensitive data and maintain confidentiality as well as have strong attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively. Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing; with professional, technical, and field personnel. Minimum requirements include English language fluency, two (2) to three (3) years’ experience in an office support function, and/or training related formal training of occupational safety experience in the transportation industry.  Position requires pre-employment background check and drug screen.
