Pumper – Denver, CO

This position is responsible for the operation and maintenance of wells, oil tanks, separators, treaters, compressors, and other auxiliary equipment and machinery used to process, route, and store oil and petroleum products. Drives to 15-16 well pads to monitor and maintain production. Checks well head and flow line to ensure there are no leaks. Determines safe and efficient movement of products through pipelines. Watches and listens for malfunctioning equipment and reports current problems or anticipated problems. Checks tank levels and performs grind-outs. Tests and treats oil with chemicals to reduce water and sediment content. Monitors and records temperature and pressure for pressures vessels. Directs oil and gas coming from each well to the separator and/or treaters.  Keeps written and electronic records on every well. May be required to operate backhoe, drive trucks, plow snow on roads, weld, and perform engine and motor repair on variety of vehicles and equipment. This position generally requires up to 50% travel during the course of the business day and may require up to 15% overnight travel. Minimum requirements include: Minimum 2-3 years oilfield work experience; experience with compressors, JT Units and gas lift is preferred; fluent in the English, both verbally and in writing. Must have a valid driver license. Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
