SHOP FOREMAN - Gillete, WY: Black Hills Trucking, Inc. is currently seeking a Shop Foreman responsible for planning and scheduling the maintenance of transportation equipment. To perform a variety of duties which include conduct truck inspections, schedule and complete maintenance of records, code billing, maintain and verify hours, transportation, financial, inventory, and personnel records, plan and establish work schedules and assignments, allocate equipment to meet operations goals, requisition needed personnel, supplies, equipment, parts and repair services and review orders, production schedules, and shipping/receiving notices to determine work sequence and material shipping dates. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Individual must be computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook and Microsoft Word software.
Position requires knowledge of the oilfield trucking and 1 year previous experience, a Class A commercial driver's license, a good motor vehicle record, and able to pass DOT physical exam and drug screen.

 

SAFETY COORDINATOR: Black Hills Trucking, Inc. is currently seeking a Safety Coordinator responsible for the coordination of safety functions and training throughout Black Hills Trucking - to maintain a high level of safe operations and to assure regulatory and required customer compliance. Additionally, responsible under direction for the development, maintaining, and monitoring the contractor's prequalification process of data management and reporting by performing the following duties.
Prepare materials and facilitate project implementation for management meetings. Responsible for Job Safety Analysis (JSA's) and record keeping. Under direction; review, monitor and maintain the safety procedures and programs. Coordinate with the Safety Director to assure proper operational safety training of all personnel. Provide operational and safety training. Establish data base management system for information storage and produce reports from such systems for use as required. Provide safety progress and information to management. Stay current with all applicable codes and regulations pertaining to Safety and ensure compliance (DOT, OSHA and EPA) and etc.
Successful candidate will be proficient at managing data with detail and accuracy and have a minimum of five years of occupational safety experience in the transportation industry.

SWAMPERS: This position is responsible for performing a variety of duties at truck terminals, truck yards, and field locations which provide backup and support for terminal staff, shop personnel, drivers, and operators. Provides safe and efficient assistance to loca/unload freight at terminals and other delivery locations. Prior experience in the trucking industry and a valid driver's license is required. Must be able to pass DOT physical and drug screen.

 

CRANE OPERATORS:  This job entails the operating of hydraulic and lattice boom cranes to tear down and rig up drilling units.  Operators need a valid CDL, Montana hoisting license or ability to acquire; at least two years experience operating 35 to 120 ton hydraulic cranes, able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen, and willing to travel.  We operate 7days/week and offer good per diem.

 

DRIVERS:    This position involves all phases of truck driving: rig moving, pipe handling, heavy haul and general commodity. Local crude drivers home at night. Successful candidates in this position must have a valid CDL with TX endorsement, good MVR, good safety record and be able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.

 

MECHANICS: This position involves all phases of truck maintenance, including brakes, electrical, suspension, and general service. Responsible for maintenance on equipment including trailers, forklifts, cranes, and small vehicles.  Diesel experience is preferred; our pay scale for experienced mechanics has recently been upgraded and is commensurate with experience.  Must provide own tools, pass DOT physical and drug screen.

FORKLIFT OPERATOR - GILLETTE: This position is responsible for loading and unloading pipe from trucks and railcars while operating a Pettibone forklift. Forklift experience preferred and the skills to pass an operator test for certification. Prior experience in the trucking industry a plus. Must be able to pass DOT physical and drug screen.

WELDER - DICKINSON: This position is responsible for welding defective and broken parts and structural members of all terminal trucks, trailers, cranes, and associated equipment and machinery. Must have previous welding experience or equivalent training in welding equipment and technology. Must be able to pass DOT physical and drug screen.
